Shoulder Injury

Bones

Bones support the body and keep growing and remodeling. The clavicle (collarbone) connects the breastbone to the scapula (shoulder blade) and helps support the shoulder. The scapula forms part of the shoulder joint with the humerus (upper arm bone), which fits into its socket to allow arm movement.
Muscles Injury

Muscles

The rotator cuff includes four muscles—supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, and subscapularis—that stabilize the shoulder and control rotation. Larger muscles like the deltoid, pectoralis major, trapezius, rhomboids, latissimus dorsi, and teres major support shoulder movement, giving strength, flexibility, and stability.
Shoulder Injury

Joints

Joints connect bones and allow smooth, controlled movement of the body. The glenohumeral joint is the main shoulder joint, supported by the acromioclavicular and sternoclavicular joints for stability. The scapulothoracic joint helps the shoulder blade glide over the ribcage, improving overall motion and flexibility.
